The Shorty 500 is a Trolling Motor specially made for the demands of the Supmaran. It is compact and light. This motor fits perfectly and allows you to steer the Supmaran ergonomically. We shortened the shaft of the motor significantly so that you can rest your arm relaxed on the throttle. It has enough power to reach a speed of 8 km/h, which is the right speed to silently cruise around and enjoy our way of boating. The handle is length adjustable and the motor has 5 forward speed steps and three steps backwards. Additionally we put on a directional fin, so that you are able to steer more exactly and have less side drift. Because it is so short you can easily carry it around and put it in your car. It is simply THE motor for the Supmaran.
